Barrel Aged Honey

This is the second batch of barrel aged honey. We offered this last year with a straight rye barrel and it sold out fast.

This one tastes even bolder and better.

This batch was aged 3 months in a rye whiskey barrel that had just finished aging rum.

We partnered with a local distillery which allowed us to obtain a barrel that was freshly dumped of rum just five days before we received it.

This isn’t flavored honey. No syrup tricks.

I didn't add anything.

It is raw honey pulled straight from the comb, then left to rest in oak until it picked up what matters.

You can taste the soaked in char, the rye spice, and the last hit of dark rum.

Thick, slow pour honey with a warm backbone and a clean finish.

Dumped, bottled, and packed by hand in a 5 oz glass whiskey flask.

Strong flavor. Pairs with sharp cheese, ice cream, and a spoon.
