FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you filter or heat your honey?

We don’t filter it, and we don’t add heat during bottling.  It’s strained the big stuff then jarred.  What you get is raw honey with nothing added and nothing cut.

Why did my honey turn solid?

That’s what real honey does. It’s called crystallization. It means it’s raw and unprocessed. Crystallized honey is still good, scoop it out with a spoon.  If it's in a plastic jar, carefully cut the bottle open.  Spoon it into coffee or spread it on toast, it's delicious. If you want it pourable again, set the jar in warm water and take your time. Don’t microwave it.

Is your tallow balm greasy?

Not if you use it right. Start small. A little goes a long way. The whipped version soaks in faster. The balm version lasts longer. Your choice on texture, they both work.

What’s in your balm?

Beef tallow, beeswax, raw honey, olive oil, and real essential oils, plus a few bee ingredients like royal jelly and propolis. No water, no fillers, no preservatives.

Is your soap safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. No fragrance oils, no detergents. Just lye, fats, goat milk, honey, and essential oils.

What’s the shelf life?

Honey: indefinite.
Balm and soap: 1+ year if stored cool and dry.

How fast do you ship?

Most orders go out in 2–3 business days. If it’s peak harvest or holiday season, it might take a little longer. We ship everything by hand ourselves.

What’s your return policy?

If something shows up busted or wrong, we’ll make it right. Just reach out.  We don’t do returns.
